Minnesota Zoo Summer Camps 2017

MNZooWEBMNZooLogoWEBAuSM is pleased to partner with the Minnesota Zoo to offer these summer classes for youth with autism.

Ocean Odyssey (ages 8-11)
Dive into an underwater world along with sea turtles, sharks, and sea dragons. Each day explore a different ocean habitat including coral reefs, tide pools, and estuaries.

Five Consecutive Days from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
June 19*-23, 2017
*Note: The June 19 session will include orientation at 8:30-9 a.m.

ZSI (ages 12-15)
Your mission—if you chose to accept it: learn scientific investigation techniques to help you solve a plethora of perplexing problems at the zoo! Each day, your ZSI team will be assigned a new mission. Are you up for the challenge?

Five Consecutive Days from 1:30-4:30 p.m.
July 17*-21, 2017
*Note: The June 17 session will include orientation at 1:30-2 p.m.

How to Run a Zoo (ages 16-19)
Visit amazing animals and go behind-the-scenes to look at who makes the zoo function and how. Come face-to-face with zoo staff and test your zoo management skills in team challenges. From marketing and social media, to conservation, to finance and donor relations, you just might pick up some skills useful for future careers—all in the fun and fascinating world of zoo animals.
