DHS Mental Health Crisis Response Services Workshop Series

DHS logoWe are pleased to announce that the Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) is collaborating with the Department of Human Services (DHS) to organize the DHS Mental Health Crisis Response Workshop Series through 2017.

Crisis Response Services respond to the needs of people experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency and include: Crisis Assessment, Crisis Intervention, and Crisis Stabilization. The services assist the recipient in regaining functioning to the level he or she had prior to the mental health emergency.

Offered throughout the state, the DHS Mental Health Crisis Response Workshop Series is open to those identified by DHS as mental health crisis response professionals, and some workshops will be open to the general public and other mental health professionals.
