Connections: Social Skills Camp

Connections: Social Skills Camp (CSSC) is a school year and summer day camp program based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The purpose of CSSC is to provide campers who have social difficulties with direct social skills instruction as well as immediate opportunities to practice the skills they have learned in real life settings. Campers learn how to be more flexible thinkers with the help of SUPERFLEX, the UNTHINKABLES and THINKABLES (Superflex curriculum, Michelle Garcia Winner & Stephanie Madrigal). Connections: Social Skills Camp helps campers to generalize their social thinking skills across settings. While our camp is specifically designed for kids who have social deficits related to high functioning autism, Asperger syndrome, ADHD, social anxiety, pragmatic language disorders and other related conditions, we believe that all kids can benefit from the lessons taught and welcome typically developing children to attend camp too.
