Scholarships and Waivers

NEW FUNDING OPPORTUNITY! 2018 Hennepin, Dakota, and Ramsey Counties Autism Grants
Hennepin, Dakota, and Ramsey Counties are collaborating with the Department of Human Services and AuSM to promote training and respite activities for individuals with autism or a related condition and their caregivers. Up to $1,000 of financial support may be applied toward AuSM training and respite. Support varies by county. For Hennepin County, participants must be registered before June 15, 2018 for training and/or respite activities. For Dakota and Ramsey Counties, funds are for training and/or respite activities that occur before June 30, 2018.

To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Have an ASD diagnosis.
2. Be the caregiver of a person with ASD, who lives in a private home or family foster care. Caregivers working for corporate providers do not qualify.
3. Other waiver funds are not available.

AuSM Scholarships for Programs and Services
AuSM wants to make it's programs and services available to as many individuals as possible. Scholarships for AuSM Social Skills classes and Camps*, AuSM memberships, workshops, the Annual Minnesota Autism Conference, and more are available for those who qualify. Click here to download an AuSM Scholarship Form.

Waivers
Check with your county case manager to learn if your selected class, camp, or program can be paid for under the Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS); Brain Injury (BI); Community Alternative Care (CAC); or Developmental Disability (DD) waivers.
