Through
Steps of Hope Support Grants, the Autism Society of Minnesota awards thousands of dollars
each year to worthy proposals supporting individuals of all ages
with autism. These grants are made possible because of the generous donations AuSM receives at our annual
Steps of Hope fundraising walk. It is our hope that these grants will stimulate creativity, encourage successful programming and expand opportunities for individuals living with ASD for many years to come.
AuSM is very excited to announce that since 2003, we have awarded 240 to exciting and effective projects exceeding $200,000.00. Funding for
individuals, families, schools and adult facilities include vital therapy options for people of all ages, social skills classes, support groups for parents and siblings, increased home security and much, much more. AuSM is very proud to support people in out community living with autism!
Our 2010 Grant Selection Committee has completed their task and we have notified the applicants of our decision. Join us at the 2011 Steps of Hope on Sunday, March 6th at Ridgedale Center to learn more about the projects we funded and to pick up an appliction for the 2011 Steps of Hope Support Grants!
