AuSM Summer Camps
Summer Camp Adventure Awaits!
AuSM camps are tailored for youth and adults with autism. Parents and caregivers can rest assured knowing that their campers are being cared for by highly trained, experienced staff, while campers make memories that last a lifetime. AuSM camps are available for individuals ages 6 and up who are AuSM members. Camp offerings include a day camp where campers arrive each morning and leave each afternoon, and two residential camps where campers stay several days and nights. Camp activities are subject to change. Due to the high demand for residential camps, campers may attend only one week of residential camp. Campers may attend one or both sessions of Wahode Day Camp.

Note: Due to our new 2020 forms system, when you join AuSM, you will not be assigned an AuSM Membership number. If you are registering for an activity that requires AuSM Membership (summer camp programs) or offers a lower rate for AuSM Members (annual conference registration), AuSM will confirm your membership status while processing your payment.

Camper and Camp Staff Safety is Priority
In addition to interviewing each camp staff applicant, the Autism Society of Minnesota thoroughly checks each applicant’s references and runs all applicants through two background checks: the Minnesota Public Criminal History Search and Methamphetamine Offender Search and the National Sex Offender Search. Returning staff members participate in this process each year they apply to work at an AuSM summer camp to ensure continued good standing. The safety of our campers and camp staff is of paramount importance to AuSM.
