Duluth 2018 Summer Social Skills Classes

DuluthwebAuSM is pleased to partner with the Lake Superior Zoo and the Great Lakes Aquarium to offer two exciting social skills classes for youth with autism. AuSM Social Skills summer classes build skills in low-stress environments that encourage learning and growth. AuSM provides programming that is conducive to youth who fall within the wide range of the autism spectrum and offers a 1:4 staff-to-participant ratio.

Group-ready participants are able to demonstrate self-care skills without assistance; follow direction; show readiness for large-group participation, including the ability to remain with the group at all times; and follow safety rules independently. Participants who are not group-ready must be accompanied by a Direct Support Professional who will assist during the classes.
