CAST Summer Showtime with Stages Theatre Company 2017
AuSM is pleased to partner with Stages Theatre Company to offer this summer class for youth with autism.
Creating Accepting Sensory-Friendly Theatre (ages 10-17)
Stages Theatre Company and the Mainstreet School for the Performing Arts (MSSPA) present this summer CAST (Creating Accepting Sensory-Friendly Theatre) program for budding actors with autism. Directed by CAST lead teacher and professional theatre artist, James Lekatz, and assisted by an AuSM Education Specialist, CAST students will participate in a 3-week intensive that culminates in public performances.
Daily, for Three Weeks from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
June 27-30; July 5-7; July 11-14
Weeks 1 and 2 at the Hopkins Historical Society (note venue change for weeks 1 and 2)
Week 3 at the Hopkins Center for the Arts on the Main Stage
Performances July 14, 2017: school/agency performance at 10:30 a.m. and a family/public performance at 1:30 p.m. at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.
