Q: What is a virtual event?
A virtual event is an online event that involves people interacting in a virtual environment on the Internet, rather than meeting in a physical location. Participants can listen in to live keynotes and breakout sessions, access on-demand breakout sessions, and browse the virtual exhibit hall to learn and find resources.
Q: What are the registration fees to attend the Stronger Together in 2020 Virtual Autism Conference?
Member of the Autism Society of Minnesota: $175
Person with ASD: $75
Add on the Thursday Pre-conference: $60
Thursday Pre-conference only: $150
Q: What does my registration fee include?
The general conference rate includes an all-access virtual pass to:
• 4 keynote presentations
• 20+ on-demand breakout sessions
• 15+ live breakout sessions
• Access to a virtual exhibit hall featuring autism-focused products, services, and programs
Add on the Thursday pre-conference to join Kelly Mahler’s workshop: “Interoception, The Eighth Sense: Practical Solutions for Promoting Self-Regulation, Positive Behavior, Language Development and Social Participation.”
Q: Will the keynote and breakout sessions be recorded and archived?
Yes! Each session will be recorded and archived. Your registration gives you virtual access during the conference dates, April 30-May 2, and then to the conference archive for up to 6 months following the virtual conference. Can’t attend the live event or need to step away from your computer? No problem, login whenever is convenient for you!
Q: How will I know how to access the conference?
Q: Can I share my access to the event with family members or colleagues?
No, registration includes access only for the person registered for the conference.
Q: If I’m already registered for the Autism Society of Minnesota’s previously scheduled live conference at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest, what do I need to do?
Q: What will happen to my hotel reservation for the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest?
Reservations can be cancelled through the hotel by calling 952.935.5500.
Q: Will the Autism Society of Greater Wisconsin and the Autism Society of Minnesota merge their conferences again in the future?
While we’re both excited by the opportunity to collaborate for Stronger Together in 2020 virtual autism conference, we do not have plans to co-host conferences in the future. We will resume hosting our separate conferences as live events in the years to come.
Q: Is financial assistance available to help cover the registration costs?

Q: What is AuSM's cancellation policy?
Notification of cancellation: If an event is cancelled or postponed, AuSM will attempt to notify you via phone, using the phone number provided with your registration. We also will post notice of cancellations and postponements on www.ausm.org.
Cancellation by program organizer: AuSM reserves the right to cancel an event due to low registrations or other circumstances that make the event non-viable. If AuSM cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. If the event is postponed, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
