Steps for Autism in Minnesota
March 3, 2019, 8:30-11 a.m.
New name, new excitement! Steps of Hope is now Steps for Autism in Minnesota!
Time to activate your inner superhero! The Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) will present its 19th annual family fun walk and the state’s largest autism resource fair at Southdale Center on March 3, 2019. Each participant is an autism hero, rallying for the 1 in 42 individuals living with autism in Minnesota. Steps for Autism in Minnesota will begin with the third annual AuSM Flash Dash, an all ages and abilities quick walk from 9-9:15 a.m. that will be done in a flash. Families and individuals who register for the AuSM Flash Dash will receive medals at the finish line and bragging rights for completion. Steps for Autism dollars directly support local families and individuals living with autism, from birth through retirement. Donations stay in the community by funding AuSM's innovative programs and services.

For nearly half a century, the Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) has helped families and individuals with autism build a community that acts without judgment, searches for new possibilities, and connects us to each other. Dollars raised through Steps for Autism fund valuable programs and services that allow people affected by autism to grow and thrive. AuSM needs you to join us on our quest to help the Minnesota autism community.
As demand for scholarships for camp, social skills classes, trainings, and other educational events has increased, a portion of dollars raised during Steps for Autism also will go back to the Minnesota autism community through AuSM scholarships. Click here to learn more about AuSM scholarships.
