Advocacy Alert: Disability Services Should Be Accessible Services

The Minnesota Consortium for Citizens with Disability Center, The Autism Society of MN and Disability Law Center have teamed up to ask state leaders to create a task force and pilot program to improve accessibility of county and state disability services.

We need your help: if you are a person with a disability, a parent, or provider and have experienced accessibility challenges accessing support services through the state of MN we want legislatures to hear your story!

State and County services include: PCA, medical assistance, Waivers, SMRT, MA-EPD, Consumer support grants, Case management, group homes, and more.

Please send your written story to Advocacy@ausm.org to be shared with lawmakers as we work to pass this important bill and improve the accessibility for all Minnesotans with disabilities and their families.
