AuSM offers Virtual Camp Discovery

Due to the pandemic, the majority of in-person camps have been canceled this summer. However, AuSM is working with our camp partners to create some virtual alternatives that allow our campers to have some fun this summer despite all of the unprecedented schedule changes. Virtual Camp Discovery 2020, offered July 19-24 for participants with autism ages 10+, will include an offering of morning and afternoon interest-focused groups and evening activity sessions. Sessions, offered real-time virtually will cover a variety of interests including American Sign Language, art, cooking, yoga, photography, Legos, writing, and music. Evening activities will include a scavenger hunt, mentor panel, dance party, talent show, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to register for the morning groups, the afternoon groups, the evening activities, a combination, or all three.

Register

Space in each interest group and the evening activities is limited. Registration will be open until 12 p.m. on Thursday, July 9. Questions? Contact Ben Urbanek, AuSM’s Director of Camp Programs, at camp@ausm.org.
