Let’s Talk About Sexuality fall class for 18+

In partnership with the Autism Society of Minnesota, the Seeing and Exploring Life’s Future (SELF) Team of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota will offer a new class for individuals with autism ages 18+: Let’s Talk About Sexuality: Sex, Communication, and Boundaries. Participants of the class, offered from 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesdays from Sept. 9-Nov. 18, will learn about sexual development and expression and engage in conversations about safe, healthy sexuality. Topics will include: healthy relationships, safe and appropriate boundaries, consent, personal safety, private and public spaces, dating and relationships, hygiene and personal care, human reproduction, pregnancy prevention, and gender and sexual orientation.
The cost for the 11-session class is $135 for AuSM members and $175 for non-members. During the COVID pandemic, the class will be offered online for the safety of participants and educators.
