Minnesota Candidates Respond to Disability Policy Survey

With the election coming up on Nov. 3, the Autism Society of Minnesota, The Arc Minnesota, Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota, Multicultural Autism Action Network, and Proof Alliance are collaborating to gather information about issues impacting the lives of those with disabilities.

The AuSM Advocacy Committee created a survey for candidates to share their perspectives about disability policy. In this survey, we asked five questions about issues that affect people with disabilities, specifically focused on invisible disabilities. While not all candidates in Minnesota responded, 58 candidates running for the Minnesota House of Representatives and the Minnesota Senate provided survey responses.

Responses are organized in roughly numerical order by House District, then by Senate District. In cases where both candidates in a district responded, their responses are included on the same page.  Read questions and responses.
