SUMMARY:The Wizard of Oz - relaxed performance
DESCRIPTION:Lights will only dim to 30% rather than blackout. Sound effects\, especially loud or sudden ones will be decreased in volume. Any potential scary characters or situations will be talked about before the show begins to give everyone a heads up. There will be a quiet space/ break space available if needed during the performance. We will provide fidgets for people who need something during the show. Patrons are welcome to walk around the theatre during the performance and wear noise-canceling headphones.

SUMMARY:Alice in Wonderland Jr. Relaxed Performance
DESCRIPTION:For every mainstage show in our season\, Children’s Performing Arts hosts a Relaxed Performance (formerly known as Sensory-Friendly). This allows patrons with sensory\, social\, physical\, and cognitive needs (including young children) to attend a production in a safe and welcoming environment. Modifications to this performance include lights remaining dim in the audience\, elimination of intense lighting and sound effects\, and audiences being free to move around the space and make any noises they need to make. A quiet space is also available outside of the theatre for patrons who need to take a break. Sensory kits including sunglasses\, noise dampening headphones\, and fidgets are available to be checked out and patrons are welcome to bring adaptive seating or other resources that they may need.

Fidgets\, noise-canceling headphones\, and modified seating are also welcome into the space! \nIn this hilarious Christmas classic\, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas! \nA social narrative and character guide will be sent to all ticket holders the week of the show.
