Dog Services is a 501c-3 Non-Profit Charitable Organization with the purpose of Providing Education and Support for Animal-Assisted Living.
We have been doing problem-solving for pet, family and sport dogs, and owner-training for service dogs in the Twin Cities area since 2005.
We have developed a complete online curriculum directing novice owners step-by-step through the process of training your dog to be a service dog. This series starts with Dog Training Basics: Foundation Skills for Handlers and Dogs, which is available on-line at: https://e-trainingfordogs.com/dog-training-basics-foundation-skills-handlers-dogs/
We provide support for all parts of the process of getting a service dog, including:
Potential Service Candidate Selection
Foundation Training Classes
Public Access Skills Classes
Working in Public Classes
Building Tasks Classes
We have produced many successful working service dog/handler teams in areas of mobility work, seizure response, scent work, tracking, autism support, PTSD support, Traumatic Brain Injury, and others.
