SUMMARY:Minnetonka Fire Department Sensory-Friendly Open House
DESCRIPTION:This event is intended for people with Autism and other sensory disorders which may make attending our larger annual open house difficult or impossible. Our goal is to keep this event smaller and quieter. A sensory room will be available for those who need a quiet space. There will be fire trucks\, a police quad and an ambulance on display. DESCRIPTION:Minnetonka Fire offers a free sensory friendly open house every spring for those families with a member(s) with Austism or another sensory disorder. We turn down the lights and sirens for this event and aim to offer an atmosphere that is quieter than our fall open house.
