Minnetonka Fire offers a free sensory friendly open house every spring for those families with a member(s) with Austism or another sensory disorder. We turn down the lights and sirens for this event and aim to offer an atmosphere that is quieter than our fall open house. We offer free cookies to all who attend and provide attendees the opportunities to sit in firetrucks, explore the station and meet firefighters who are ready to host the open house and meet you where you are.

A sensory room will be available for those who are in need of a calm and quiet environment.
