Alyssa Perau (she/they) has been an Adolescent Health Specialist with Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota’s SELF team, Seeing and Exploring Life’s Future, since 2018. She is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Adler Graduate School. Before joining LSS, she worked as a program counselor for adults with developmental disabilities, and for Cornerstone’s Day One Crisis Line, where she received her certification as a sexual assault and domestic violence advocate. Through LSS she teaches sex education to people of all ages but focuses on working with youth and adults with developmental disabilities.
