A first of its kind bill was recently passed recommending professional development for MN educators that is created and provided by disabled people on the topic of ableism. This session will offer a first look at what a group of current and former students have shared regarding their educational experiences and what they want educators to know about autism. This project is a collaboration between Brightworks, MN LEND, and the Autism Society designed to provide educators with perspectives and knowledge to support autistic students.
