ShareBuddies

ShareBuddies is an online platform that provides free social skills services to students with social challenges. In light of the ubiquitous social distancing, students with these challenges do not have many opportunities to socialize with their peers, and as a result, they are unable to improve their communicative abilities.

ShareBuddies aims to close this gap by providing complimentary, 30-45 minute sessions 3-4 times a week, catered to each student’s communicative abilities (non-verbal, semi-verbal, and verbal). They are expected to start mid-July and entail flashcard and book reading, turn-and-talk discussions, sharing of social stories, and much more. We hope we can strengthen the bonds of our community and empower the youth to succeed in all future endeavors!
