Minnesota Independence College & Community

Minnesota Independence College & Community (MICC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit vocational and life skills training program for young adults with learning differences and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Our ultimate goal is to support our students in making successful transitions towards independent living and financial self-sufficiency through classes specifically for learning in their own apartments, at the grocery store, in the workplace, at restaurants, and on public transportation—any practical environment where life skills are needed.
• Summer Program, ages 16-20, two weeks in June or July (annually)
• College Program, ages 18-26, three years including Careers Program in years two and three
• Community Program, lifelong support of successful College Program graduates
