Cat Hammond is an Adolescent Health Specialist within the SELF program at Lutheran Social Services (LSS). Cat holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Gender and Sexuality Studies and Radio/Television/Film from Northwestern University. They have worked as a professional sex educator since 2012, focusing on providing accurate and inclusive information that affirms pleasure as an important and worthwhile component of sexuality. Cat has also provided trainings and consulting on the subject of gender diversity to churches, theatre companies, and healthcare professionals. As a theatre performer and instructor, they bring a dynamic and embodied presence to their classroom teaching.
