Games as a Play-Based Therapy Tool for Clinicians and Families

The purpose of this presentation is to discuss using play, particularly games, as a way to engage neurodivergent youth in therapy. As well as for families without access to therapy, how to use games to engage with your children. Games are an amazing way to teach skills, start conversations, and explore feelings. In this presentation clinicians and parents will hear about research showing the benefit of TTRPGs (table top role playing games) They will hear about other games that have therapeutic value as well as tools for getting kids involved in family game night.
