Jessica Simacek serves as the Director of the TeleOutreach Center and the TeleOutreach Research Core at the Institute on Community Integration and the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain at the University of Minnesota. Her work focuses on improving access to supports and interventions for children with developmental disabilities or complex communication needs and for their families. She serves as Research Director for the MN Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (MNLEND) program. She has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, Special Education, from the University of Minnesota. She is a parent of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
