Maren Christenson Hofer is the parent of an autistic 12-year-old and currently serves as the Executive Director for the Multicultural Autism Action Network (MAAN), a non-profit organization serving autistic children and their families primarily in the Somali and Oromo communities. MAAN reviews hundreds of IEPs with families each year.
