Mike was assessed as autistic at age 50, well after his children became adults. He actively supports the neurodivergent community as an MNeurodivergent event organizer and through the numerous pins he and his son have made and distributed. Mike is the father of three adult neurodivergent children and was their primary caregiver for seven years. He also briefly served as a foster parent before having his own children. Mike was married to his children’s mother for thirteen years and has been happily married to his current wife for twelve years.
