Sarah Dicks has worked for MN Disability Determination Services, the agency that makes the medical decision for the Social Security Administration’s disability benefits applications, for nearly 10 years. In her role as a Medical Relations Officer, Sarah values the opportunity to meet with community members, clinicians, and social services advocates to provide outreach and education about the Social Security programs for people with disabilities. She works to make sure that a complex system can be made more transparent and approachable for people with disabilities and their families, medical/mental health providers, and county supports.
