In this presentation, they will share their lived experiences of building a physical neurodivergent community that moves beyond traditional care models, offering spaces that empower, uplift, and nurture belonging.

Drawing from their work with Autism SIBS Universe, they will highlight how person-centered collaboration with self-advocates, families, guardians, and microboards shapes meaningful approaches to care and ensures long-term safety.

The presenters will also discuss the pros and cons of living in co-created neurodivergent spaces, giving the audience a realistic view of potential opportunities and challenges.
