Lionsgate Academy
Lionsgate Academy is a public charter school open to all students in grades 7 through 12. Lionsgate’s program is inclusively designed to address the unique learning needs of students living on the autism spectrum and students with other learning differences.
All students are welcome at Lionsgate. Our general education teachers, special education teachers and therapeutic support service staff work collaboratively with our students and families to identify our students’ unique strengths and challenges. We strive to provide a well-rounded education for our students with standards-aligned core academic classes, elective classes, and after school activities. In addition, our full support services and transitions teams are on site to provide necessary training in areas such as social skills, occupational therapy, speech-language, and transition skills (e.g., preparing for employment, preparing for post-secondary education, and independent living skills).
Lionsgate Academy’s Achieving Independence & Maturity (AIM) Program serves students ages 18 – 21 in the three areas of transition: employment, post secondary education and skills of daily living and offers a state-approved Work Based Learning program where students work or volunteer in the community.
At Lionsgate Academy, your student will thrive in a truly supportive environment, surrounded by compassionate and dedicated professionals who understand your student’s gifts and needs.
