University of Minnesota ASD Clinic

The Autism Spectrum and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (ASD) Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic that brings together a campus and community-wide collaboration of clinicians, researchers and families to foster excellence in clinical care for children and families with ASD. It is staffed by specialists in developmental/behavioral pediatrics, psychology and neuro-psychology. It is part of a university- wide effort to also foster clinical research and basic science research into the clinical and biological underpinnings of these disorders.

The broad objectives of the program include (1) Providing a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary center for the evaluation and diagnosis of ASD (2) Working closely with families and community outreach, and (3) Fostering clinical training and research efforts.

Our patients are 1- to 18-year-olds with developmental difficulties for whom an autism spectrum disorder is considered.
