Roots and Wings Therapeutic Services LLC

We join individuals across the lifespan in their home or preferred environments to support the development of fine and gross motor, self-care, feeding, sensory processing, and social-emotional regulation skills. We support engagement in functional and meaningful activities while building upon an individual’s strengths, autonomy, and aspirations. We utilize neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, strengths-based and relationship-based approaches.

For individual services, we offer:
Occupational therapy evaluation and treatment across the lifespan supporting sensory processing, regulation, self care, home management, motor skills, work and leisure, adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment, and adaptations and modifications to environments and activities.
Consultations: IEPs, school, educational adaptations and accommodations, ergonomics and safety (workplace, home, and community), and neurodiversity-affirming strategies and implementation.
Home Safety Evaluations: Falls, elopement, organization, adaptive equipment use, and sensory motor room recommendations.

For group services, we offer:
Special interest groups that tap into an individual’s strengths and interests to develop connections and confidence with peers with similar interests (ie Legos, trains, robots, maps, etc.).
Topic based groups that build confidence and connections with others. Topics may include interoception, neurodiversity-affirming parenting strategies, energy management, and others.
