As part of my project, I need 40 participants with autism and 40 participants without between the ages of 18-29 years old. All I need from the participants is a signed consent form and to follow their Facebook and Instagram accounts. I will follow them on Instagram or Facebook from a private account made specifically for the study to track their posts and the types of words used. I will be creating text samples from their posts and comments to use with a language analysis software. The text samples will be kept anonymous with participant IDs assigned to each one rather than real names. After the completion of the study, access to social media profiles will be removed and the text samples will be deleted.
