Play Date Survey
You are invited to participate in a research study focused on parent perceptions of play dates between the children with autism and playmates without disabilities. Please read this form and ask any questions you may have before agreeing to participate in the study. Your participation is entirely voluntary.
Background Information and Eligibility
The purpose of this study is to evaluate your perceptions of play dates. To participate, you MUST be the parent or primary caregiver of a child with autism OR a child without any disabilities between 4-7 years of age.
Duration
It is anticipated that this survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete. This survey must be completed at one single point in time.
Compensation
A maximum of 300 participants will be recruited for participation in this study. There will be 30 participants randomly selected to receive $10 Amazon.com e-gift cards as thank you gifts. Therefore, each individual participant has an equal, one-in-ten chance (or better) of being randomly selected to receive an Amazon.com thank you gift. In order to keep your responses anonymous, all participants who submit a survey response via Qualtrics will be directed to a separate website to enter their email address for the Amazon gift card. After the study has ended, 30 randomly selected participants who have submitted their email addresses will be contacted via email regarding their Amazon gift card.
