Gender Identity Development in Children and Adolescents with ASD

Researchers at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York are looking to better understand gender identity development in children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and its impact on social relationships. To do so, we would like the parents of children who have been diagnosed with ASD to complete a short questionnaire. It is very important to us that as many parents as possible complete this questionnaire in order for our results to be as valid and representative as possible. The way in which children and adolescents with ASD develop their gender identity remains under-examined, and your responses to this questionnaire will help us to better assist children and adolescents with ASD who may have gender-related concerns.

If you are the parent of a child with ASD who is between the ages of 6 – 25 years old and are willing to complete this anonymous survey, click here to begin.
