Police Safety Study

Teens and adults with autism needed for police safety study.

What are the goals of this research study?

The purpose of this research study is to test whether virtual reality (VR) could be a useful way for people with autism to practice interacting with police officers.

Who can be a part of this research study?

Teens and adults (age 12-60) with a confirmed diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

What will participants be asked to do?

  • Make one-to-four virtual study visits
  • Participate in either VR intervention or a treatment-as-usual condition
  • Complete questionnaires and talk about experiences

What will participants receive in this research study?

You will receive compensation for participating.
